Whether you're curious about future programs, looking for family-friendly fun, or just want to be part of this exciting moment, everyone is invited to come celebrate and see what Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre has to offer.
About
Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre (LCCRC) is a neighbourhood-focused hub located at 1491 Hunter Street, right in the heart of the growing Lynn Creek Town Centre, North Vancouver. Positioned at the corner of Mountain Highway and Hunter Street, its front doors open onto Seylynn Park, making it a natural extension of the surrounding green space and community vibe. Just steps from the Spirit Trail bridge over Lynn Creek, the centre is easily accessible from Bridgman Park and Park & Tilford, connecting residents and visitors alike to a vibrant part of The North Shore Edge.
Special Features
Designed to be a central gathering place for residents of Lynn Creek and the surrounding area, LCCRC offers a wide variety of community, recreational, cultural, and creative programs for all ages and abilities — from visual arts and dance to youth camps, out-of-school care, and family events. Though it does not include a fitness centre, ice rink, or pool, LCCRC complements North Vancouver's broader network of recreation facilities, focusing instead on programming that encourages creativity, connection, and neighbourhood engagement.
Parkgate Society operates a licensed childcare centre within LCCRC under a lease agreement with the District of North Vancouver, further supporting families and caregivers in the community. The centre originally opened its doors on February 19, 2025, with introductory programming and reduced hours, before expanding to a full slate of activities and regular hours by April 7. With accessible spaces, low-cost options, and inclusive programming, Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre is already shaping up to be a welcoming and essential gathering place for the growing Lynn Creek neighbourhood. Whether you're dropping in for a workshop, enrolling your hild in a camp, or attending a community event, LCCRC is built to bring people together.
