Now officially open, the new Maplewood Fire and Rescue Centre is a cutting-edge facility built to serve the growing needs of North Vancouver’s east side and beyond. Located just off Dollarton Highway, this 39,000-square-foot centre stands on four acres of District-owned land in the heart of the North Shore Edge. It’s home to DNV Fire and Rescue Services’ new headquarters, a full-service firehall, and both indoor and outdoor training grounds. Designed to post-disaster standards, this state-of-the-art centre ensures that emergency services can remain operational through earthquakes, power outages, and other crises.
